On this page you may apply for a Subsidy for the Professional Training. A limited number of subsidies are available, with a course fee of $2650 CAD, rather than the regular price of $4200.
Please only apply for a subsidy if you:
- Are committed and capable of attending the program you are applying for only at the subsidized rate
- Can pay the discounted rate for the course by the required date, in one payment
- Are currently seeing clients.
Application timeline:
- Subsidy applications are open until Sunday, July 19, 2026 (midnight ET)
- Admission decisions will be shared by three business days after the above deadline
- Final registration and payment are due by Sunday, August 2, 2026
As part of your application, you will be asked to:
- Upload a resume or CV (we recommend highlighting all relevant therapy, coaching, or related training and experience)
- Provide a letter of recommendation from a professional colleague or supervisor who has known you for at least two years
- Submit documentation of 200+ hours of relevant training or accreditation
Subsidies will be granted based on financial need, the number and type of clients you work with, and the economy of the country you live in. We seek to support and include traditionally underrepresented, marginalized, or otherwise under-served populations including people of colour, people from faith based communities, the LGBTQ+ community, as well as full-time students. Our subsidies can also support individuals whose work is in service to marginalized communities, international relief, veterans, and victim support.
Subsidies are not transferable from one course to another, or from one person to another.
Because of the depth and experiential nature of this program, we require all participants to be actively engaged in ongoing personal therapy with a CI Practitioner or another licensed therapist of their choice throughout the duration of the program.
